There are many facets to my origin story, but basically I started drawing on stickers a few years ago and haven’t stopped drawing since! Heavily influenced by years of alternative music, weird comics and ‘80s cartoons, my brain now pumps out some decidedly strange ideas that, fortunately for me, people like to look at! Mostly known for drawing and painting ghosts on things – I’ve been working on my robotics skills since the Summer of 2020. I think I’ve even got past the second round of voting once! I still hope one day to be a prompt artist for the monthly challenge (hint hint!)

Welcome to my corner of this webpage. My name is Nate Russell & I’m a traditional artist who resides in beautiful Boulder County, Colorado in the United States. I have been involved in the Draw Me A Robot art community for over 2 & a half years! Along with robots, my favorite type of art to create is dark art, surrealism, as well as creating odd creature & animal mash ups. I also enjoy creating the occasional fan art piece. My goal as an artist is to create visuals of ideas that would leave a lasting impression with the viewer because of the concept was something they hadn’t considered before. I also like for the viewer finds their own meaning & interpretation. The mediums I use the most are inks, markers, color pencils & posca art pens. I’m also work with wood burning.
